Park West is a New Jersey diner in the finest tradition: a warm and welcoming room, a menu with something for every guest, breakfast served all day, and coffee that is never allowed to run low.

Today, three kitchens share a single pass. There are the diner classics, and a Greek kitchen where spanakopita and moussaka are made the way they should be. And there is an Italian kitchen, which is where Park West is headed next.

That is the work of the new owners, Gregory Maietta, Frank Gencarelli and his son Francesco Gencarelli. They are transforming Park West with the highest-quality ingredients and bringing high-quality Italian cuisine to a high-end diner, served in a room of marble, chrome and the checkered plates the food has always come out on.
